Teen Concierge from Omni Berkshire Place Shares Some of His Favorite Things in NYC

Metropolitan Museum of Art. Arte egipcio, 2008.

Last week I blogged about the Omni Berkshire Place in NYC’s teen concierge extraordinaire, David Strebel. I promised to share some of David’s favorite things in NYC for tweens and teens. Here they are!

Skateboarding in Central Park

Concerts in Central Park  (David was really looking forward to an upcoming bluegrass concert)

The Egyptian Wing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art

Burgers (anywhere, but The Shake Shack at East 86th and Lexington gets a high five)

Frozen yogurt at Off the Wall (self-serve place, 55th and 2nd avenue Italian food at Luna Piena (popular neighborhood spot,  53rd and 2nd avenue)

If you’ve got tweens and teens, the Omni is a fabulous spot to call home when you’re in the City. It’s got a great location that’s a skateboard away from these spots that David shared–and many more including Top of the Rock, Times Square, the tree at Rockefeller Center and, one of my favorite places in the City, Bryant Park (teens love to play ping-pong and chess here.) Check into the Omni and check out the best of the City.

NOTE: David is heading off to college on the West Coast and I wish him the best of luck! Teens and tweens will be in good hands with another teen concierge at the hotel, of course. Omni’s Teen Connection program is offered in seven of its properties from Boston to Amelia Island. Brilliant idea!
